For a Moment Such as This: Our Legacy of Resistance includes the Fight for HIV Justice

It is important that we remember where we’ve come from, a legacy of activism and resistance in the South that has toppled systems and created opportunities. Join us  for a National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day dialogue, “For A Moment Such As This”, where we will explore the Civil Rights Movement and the HIV justice movements historically and at this moment. This conversation will feature the newly elected Co-Chairs of the US People Living with HIV Caucus, Venita Ray (she/her) and Michael Elizabeth (they/them), and Civil Rights historian Ahmad Ward in a dialogue you don’t want to miss!  This will be the first in a series of programs that will highlight the 2024 Southern States Manifesto and how it can be used for advocacy and changemaking in your community.
