The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC Health Department) and the NYC World AIDS Day 2024 Planning Committee invite you to commemorate 2024 World AIDS Day on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Dweck Center at Brooklyn Public Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn NY 11238. Doors open at 9:45 a.m. A light breakfast will be provided.

The theme for this year’s event is: "We Are Stronger Together: Ending the Epidemic by Fighting Stigma, Building Community, and Empowering the Next Generation”

The event will feature live performances, guest speakers, activists, local leadership from HIV service organizations and community-based organizations, elected officials, and leadership from the NYC Health Department. The NYC Health Department will also honor our 2024 World AIDS Day awardees during the event.

The 2024 World AIDS Day event is open to the public. RSVP is required to attend in-person. Please RSVP on Eventbrite by Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 5 p.m.
