Operated by The West Central Florida Ryan White Care Council
Determines the needs of the HIV community in eight counties (Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk) by conducting a needs assessment (a series of studies including client and provider surveys and focus groups). With the information gathered through the needs assessment, and the input of community members that participate in committee meetings, town halls and other community events, we decides how much Ryan White funding goes to each HIV service. We do not directly provide services, we plans and evaluates them.
A planning body (of dedicated volunteers) that assesses needs, plans, allocates resources, and evaluates HIV/AIDS services to improve the lives of those infected and affected.
