Anthony Langford Feher XIV
March 2, 1956 - June 24, 2016
Raised in Corpus Christi, TX, resided in New York City, he was 60 years old. A truly original artist who saw beauty in everything. A shaman and an alchemist who made magic out of thin air. Tony was a Gentleman, a Prince and a Queen. Always the life of the party, he was the first to arrive and the last to leave. An activist, collector, cultural historian, geologist, world traveler, carpenter, ballroom dancer, gardener, aviator, slut and a mighty raconteur. Above all, Tony was a transplendent friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 7 months, Andrea Blum, his sister-wives Nancy Brooks Brody, Joy Episalla, Zoe Leonard, Carrie Yamaoka, his soul brother Mike Malena and a vast family of beloved friends. His parting words were “You all still look the same.” Tony left us at 5:25 pm in Bellevue hospice, surrounded by his chosen family, not before saying, “it ain’t the Carlyle.”
