I learned this morning that long time AIDS, gay and community activist Hank Wilson has died. Hank had been battling lung cancer for some time, and managed to keep up his activist work through much of this last battle.

I am not the right person to write his obituary. I didn?t know Hank well, or really at all outside of the activist realm. He was committed, smart, funny and a bit fixated on the issue of poppers.

We have lost another important activist. Hank will be missed.
