Please register now for an important webinar discussion, Breast/Chestfeeding and HIV in the US: A Listening Session with National Advocates, in honor of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD).
Taking place on Wednesday, March 16th from 1:30 – 3:00 pm ET, this webinar will bring together US-based organizations that are committed to ensuring that parents living with HIV are able to make the best infant-feeding decisions for themselves and their babies – including HIVE, ICW-NA, Prevention Access Campaign, The Center for HIV Law and Policy, The Afiya Center, and Transgender Strategy Center.
This event will provide updates about community-driven efforts underway to expand knowledge around breast/chestfeeding with HIV, promote provider support for parents living with HIV, change policies to reflect current evidence – and how you can get involved!
We hope you’ll join us for what will be a remarkable discussion about how to improve the infant-feeding landscape for parents living with HIV and collaborate on this advocacy work. Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions and share their work related to this field during a robust audience Q&A.
This webinar is part of our BEEEBAH (Building Equity, Ethics, and Education on Breastfeeding and HIV) initiative. To learn more, please visit: bit.ly/BEEEBAH.
