The HIV League is excited to announce that the application for the 2018 HIV League Scholarship, the only national scholarship for college students living with HIV, is now open! .

The HIV League just celebrated it’s two-year anniversary as an organization this past World AIDS Day, and since the first ever round of scholarships was implemented, we have been hard at work every day with the intention of growing this necessary program. Because of many dedicated supporters and our stellar Board and Advisory Board members, The HIV League will be able to identify four HIV League Scholars who will each receive a $7,000 scholarship award over the course of two academic years. These HIV League Scholars will be awarded a scholarship since they will all have demonstrated that they are the most promising students living with HIV as evidenced by their educational accomplishments, leadership, and service. To view the application and the instructions on how to submit one, please visit www.hivleague.org and follow the links at the top of the page.

The HIV League’s mission is to empower the HIV Community through scholarship, wellness, and education. We wholeheartedly believe in this mission, and we’re seeing that many other members of the HIV Community across the nation, those who are living with HIV and acting on their wellness along with those who are HIV-Negative and are advocating for the well-being of those living with HIV, are extremely passionate about this mission as well.

The success of the HIV League Scholarship is not only because of the selfless volunteerism from our Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Executive Director, but it’s already a successful program because of the generosity from all of The HIV League’s supporters. We are so glad to be making an impact within the HIV Community, one of the strongest, most resilient communities this country has ever seen, and we cannot wait for you to be a part of the movement.
