Back in September, a John McCain presidential campaign ad slammed Barack Obama for voting in favor of legislation that would offer sex education for kindergartners; in fact, the kids would have learned about inappropriate touching, not the birds and the bees. However, across the pond, the United Kingdom’s Family Planning Association has no problem with teaching 6- and 7-year-olds more about their bodies. The organization is promoting its 12-page comic Let’s Grow With Nisha and Joe to primary schools throughout the country. The group insists that the comic will serve as a “gentle introduction” to gender differences for younger learners.
