A father in Peru allegedly poured gasoline on his 22-year-old son and set him on fire, The Huffington Post reports. According to a Peruvian newspaper, Hitler Baneo Núñez, 49, tried to burn his son alive because he is gay and has HIV. The son survived, but has burns on his face, arms and parts of his legs. The newspaper claims the father committed the act after becoming tired of jokes from neighbors about his son’s sexuality.
