The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has given a five-year, $6.7 million grant to the Center for Drug Use and HIV Research at New York University (NYU), according to an NYU statement. The renewal grant supports the work of 50 investigators from four institutions: NYU, the National Development and Research Institutes, Beth Israel Medical Center and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. The goal is to find better ways to implement research findings that will improve public health.
