Agence France-Presse (AFP) reporters found recreational drug users in AIDS-ravaged Durban, South Africa, stealing HIV med Stocrin (a.k.a. Sustiva) from positive people, grinding it into a powder and mixing it with marijuana to take advantage of the drug’s hallucinogenic properties. By itself, Stocrin’s side effects can include dizziness, depression, anxiety and vivid dreams. But when combined with marijuana, experts say, the HIV med can be deadly. Now that’s what we call some killer bud.
