Janssen Therapeutics has given 16 HIV/AIDS groups up to $30,000 each to support programs improving access to care, according to a Janssen statement. The grants are part of its Linking In-Need Communities to Care (LINCC) initiative. The groups include Action AIDS in Philadelphia; AIDS Action Committee in Boston; AIDS Project Los Angeles; Big Bend Care in Tallahassee, Florida; Christie’s Place in San Diego; CitiWide Harm Reduction in New York City; Community Education Group in Washington, DC; Empowerment Resource Center in Atlanta; HELP/PSI in New York City; Howard Brown Health Center in Chicago; Medical AIDS Outreach of Alabama; The Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center in San Francisco; Shanti in San Francisco; Sisterhood Mobilized for AIDS/HIV Research & Treatment in New York City; Southwest Louisiana AIDS Council; and Us Helping Us in Washington, DC.
