The Health Resources andServices Administration (HRSA) has granted HealthHIV a three-year, $2.975million grant to create a new AIDS education and training center (AETC) to helpminority communities, according to a HealthHIV statement. AETCs provideeducation and training programs for health care providers treating peopleliving with HIV/AIDS. The AETC National Center for HIV Care in MinorityCommunities will expand care, treatment and support services for minoritycommunities in health centers nationwide. HealthHIV will implement the new AETCwith help from the National Association of Community Health Centers.
