Two Boston health organizations serving the LGBT and HIV/AIDS communities have entered into a new partnership. Fenway Health and AIDS Action Committee (AAC) of Massachusetts will join under one corporate structure, according to an AAC statement. However, each group will keep its nonprofit status, names and brand identities. Stephen L. Boswell, MD, remains president and CEO of Fenway Health. Rebecca Haag remains CEO of AAC. The Fenway board of directors has fiduciary responsibility and governance of AAC. Some AAC board members will join the Fenway board, and some will join a new advisory council to help support the work of AAC. The partnership is intended to increase the efficiency of services and enhance ongoing prevention and policy work.
