DotHIV has formed a circle of advisors, according to a statement from the nonprofit group, which proposes to launch a “.hiv” top-level Internet domain name that would generate funds to fight HIV/AIDS. The group is still in the process of acquiring the domain. The list includes advocates from around the world. The group claims that users of .hiv sites will be able to direct funds to the HIV/AIDS charities of their choosing.
