A letter in the Journal of AIDS reported that a review of 34 HAART scripts for hospitalized HIVers at an unnamed teaching joint revealed widespread dosage errors (11 percent of cases). In 100 percent of cases, docs prescribed the meds to be taken at incorrect times. Six months into a new med-ed class for staff, researchers saw scant improvement.
