AIDS activists demanding more HIV/AIDS funding heckled President Barack Obama during his speech at a rally for Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Deval Patrick, The Associated Press reports. As protestors interrupted Obama’s speech twice, his supporters in the audience tried to drown them out by shouting, “Yes we can.” But Obama addressed the activists directly, saying that his administration had increased AIDS funding and asking them to “take a look at what the Republican leadership has to say about AIDS funding.”
