The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and the Magic Johnson Foundation have partnered to open a clinic May 16 in Atlanta, The Georgia Voice reports. The Atlanta Magic Johnson Healthcare Clinic, named after the HIV-positive NBA legend, will provide HIV primary care, laboratory care and an on-site pharmacy. Administrators located the new clinic in Atlanta because the city has both a high rate of new HIV cases and a high percentage of HIV-positive people not in care or receiving antiretroviral treatment.
