I get these metal pill cases from Kitchen Market, a burrito place on Eighth Avenue. On the top of them, as the lid, there’s an inverted bottle cap with a variety of images: a photo of Frida Kahlo, my favorite; the Virgin Mary, which will do OK for an ex-Catholic like me who doesn’t get caught up in it; and Day of the Dead skeletons, which I tend to avoid—I figure that’s pushing it. They’re cheap (just $5.95) and they hold six Norvir capsules, plus my multivitamin, vitamin C, garlic and other stuff. I love the size—mine fits in my pocket or bag—and it’s durable. Plus, it’s a nice, quirky, beautiful object. I even give them to friends as gifts.
