The long-awaited film of Tony Kushner’s AIDS epic Angels in America began shooting in April. Mike Nichols directs the HBO production, which stars Al Pacino (Roy Cohn), Meryl Streep (Hannah Pitt) and Emma Thompson (The Angel).
