The first-ever Broadway Bears auction, starring 40 one-of-a-kind cubs dressed in handmade costumes representing the biggest legends of the stage, raised $124,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS in February. The highest bid -- $11,000 for A Chorus Line -- topped Rosie O’Donnell’s for the Funny Girl bear, signed by Babs.
