Florida’s underground market for Rx drugs could be endangering HIVers, the state health department has warned. Patients fill expensive ’scrips—the pricey human-growth hormone Serostim is a black-market favorite—then sell them on the street. Tom Liberti, chief of Florida’s Bureau of HIV/AIDS, said pills make their way back to wholesalers and onto pharmacy shelves, now possibly “bogus, expired, diluted or inactive.”
