Jeff Crowley, the director of the White House Office of National AIDS Policy (ONAP), will leave his position by the end of this year, The Washington Blade reports. He made his decision public in an open letter to colleagues. Crowley also will leave his position as senior advisor on disability. Crowley asserts that the White House has already begun the process of finding his replacement and will keep the implementation of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy a priority in the coming months. Previously, Crowley was deputy executive director for programs at the National Association of People With AIDS.
