Andrew Hunter, president and founding member of the Scotland–based Global Network of Sex Work Projects (NSWP), died December 26 in Bangkok, according to an NSWP statement. He also was a founding member of the Asia Pacific Network of Sex Workers (APNSW). According to a statement by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), Hunter was a member of the UNAIDS advisory group on HIV and sex work.
