The AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) has identified three major goals it will address as a result of upcoming changes from the Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. health care reform), according to an AFC statement. The new strategic plan covers 2013 to 2015. The goals include strengthening community health, leading integration of changing health systems, and managing for better outcomes at each stage of HIV care. AFC will develop activities for the entire HIV sector to better manage its responses to the health care reform law.
