World AIDS Museum Proposed in Florida

An AIDS museum has been proposed for the LGBT-friendly city of Wilton Manors, Florida, by a local activist living with HIV, South Florida Gay News reports. Steve Sagon, president of the World AIDS Museum & Educational Center, shared his proposals January 17 at a community event. Sagon believes that Wilton Manors, which is a few miles from Fort Lauderdale, would be an ideal location because it attracts more than a million LGBT tourists spending more than $1 billion annually.

I believe a World Aids Museum would be better in a ground zero city such as San Fran Or NYC both have a very high percentage of gay tourist.
