N.Y. Advocates Support 'No Condoms as Evidence' Bill
Advocates are lobbying Albany lawmakers to support a bill in the New York State legislature to stop law enforcement from using the possession of condoms as evidence of prostitution, Metro reports. The New York Police Department opposes the legislation because it believes the proposed law would hurt their ability to prosecute pimps and sex traffickers. San Francisco and Washington, DC, have stopped using condoms as evidence.
