Mississippi Living

Positive Mississippians who are down on their luck will have a chance at stable housing following a pledge by Mississippi State Department of Health STD/HIV Bureau Director Craig Thompson for $200,000 per year to support a four-year long-term housing pilot program. The program will be funded by Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA), which has traditionally only funded transitional housing in the state, with a maximum stay of 21 weeks.
