The Los Angeles Film & Entertainment Soccer Tournament will launch an annual fundraising event on March 24, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Proceeds will benefit Grassroot Soccer, which uses soccer to fight HIV/AIDS, and the Mia Hamm Foundation, which raises funds and awareness for people who need bone marrow or cord blood transplants. Scheduled to appear are Ethan Zohn, winner of Survivor: Africa and cofounder of Grassroot Soccer, as well as soccer star Mia Hamm and her husband, baseball star Nomar Garciaparra.
