Keep the Promise on HIV/AIDS March and Rally in Atlanta

Saturday, November 3, advocates and community leaders gathered in Centennial Park in Atlanta to call for funding to fight HIV/AIDS in the South, according to a statement by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), which created this series of events. The “Keep the Promise on HIV/AIDS March and Rally” in Atlanta was the second event. The first took place in Washington, DC, this past July during the XIX International AIDS Conference. The third will take place in New York City on Saturday, December 1, which is World AIDS Day.
