The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has signed a $156 million grant agreement with Zambia, according to a Global Fund statement. The agreement provides access to a secure supply of antiretroviral (ARV) treatment for Zambians who are already receiving the medicine. The funding also supports work to get ARVs to 225,000 more people. Currently, 448,000 Zambians get ARVs with Global Fund support.
