Controversy Over Closure of Florida AIDS Clinic
The AIDS Resource Council (ARC) in Fort Myers, Florida, which served about 250 HIV-positive clients, has closed, news-press.com reports. Local groups have taken in some former ARC patients, but most of them are still not connected to a new clinic. Many former clients are homeless and uninsured or covered by Medicaid, which isn’t accepted by many private physicians. Some of the controversy surrounding the closure includes claims of not giving enough notice to clients and varying accounts of why ARC finances were in such bad shape.

Michael, people do care about people with AIDS, however it is not like the old days for many are not sharing their AIDS stories of past and the new HIV people want to live and avoid the conversation, I believe. The AIDS history seems to break many hearts of past trauma and many want to move on and not face AIDS ever again. I care about AIDS people and I care about HIV people too. A grandmother would say"hold your head high, walk in the room with courage, for you are the Apple of God's Eyes"

It leaves the unfortunate victims the , Patients at risk of the disease to take over their immune systems again or worse .

They have nothing better to do than to let the clients suffer hell let them die I'm sure they would not care they would look at it as saving money I wish everyoe would stop pretending they care I have aids and no one cares they just care about money
