Medical Marijuana Rules Approved in Connecticut
The Connecticut legislature has approved regulations for medical marijuana, The Hartford Courant reports. The vote means the state will now be able to issue licenses to growers and sellers of prescription pot. The state consumer protection department will award licenses around the beginning of 2014. To qualify to buy medical marijuana, patients must have debilitating conditions such as HIV/AIDS and cancer.
