District Judge Isaac Stoltzfus, of Intercourse, Pennsylvania, was cleared of judicial misconduct for handing out acorns stuffed with unwrapped condoms to two women outside a state building last September, LancasterOnline reports. The State Court of Judicial Discipline granted Stoltzfus’s motion to dismiss a judicial misconduct complaint that had been filed against him earlier. The court, however, reprimanded Stoltzfus’s actions, saying, “His preoccupation with acorns is mystifying to the court…. It is not funny, and we strongly disapprove of this conduct. Although it did not rise to a violation, it certainly lacks good judgment and must not be repeated.”
