Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) opened a new housing
development for people living with HIV/AIDS in Las Vegas, KTNV.com reports.
AFAN is the largest HIV/AIDS organization in Nevada, serving clients for more
than 25 years. The new community, called Esperanza (“Hope”), will house 20
residents. Many of the 4,000 clients AFAN serves are having trouble finding
