Companies with fewer than 100 employees will not have to provide health care insurance until 2016 under the Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. the health care reform law, or ACA), Bloomberg News reports. Employers with 100 or more workers are required to cover at least 70 percent of their employees in 2015. This latest delay was again in response to complaints from small businesses that they needed more time to comply. The ACA mandate for employers with more than 50 workers to provide coverage or face fines already was delayed last year until 2015. Now many of those companies have more time.
