Swaziland Health Minister Benedict Xaba told parliament that state hospitals will run out of antiretroviral (ARV) medications in two months, The Washington Post reports. More than 60,000 HIV-positive Swazis depend on free antiretroviral ARVs. The small southern African country has the highest percentage in the world of people living with HIV. Xaba blamed the med shortage on the country’s economic crisis and is seeking international loans.
