Iranian HIV/AIDS doctor Arash Alaei has been released after 1,160 days in prison, CNN.com reports. He was imprisoned on charges of sedition in 2008 along with his brother Kamiar Alaei. Starting in 1999 with the opening of a community clinic in their hometown, the two led the way in treating and raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, both in Iran and in neighboring Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
