June 8 Is National Caribbean-American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Wednesday, June 8, is National Caribbean-American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, the sixth annual observance to promote HIV awareness, education and testing throughout Caribbean-American communities. According to a recently published report from the CDC an estimated 100,013 black adults and adolescents of Caribbean origin were diagnosed HIV positive from 2001 to 2007.
