1 in 4 Zimbabwe Kids Is an AIDS Orphan

Nearly one in four Zimbabwean children is an AIDS orphan—having lost one or both parents to AIDS—up from 14% in 1999, according to a new national survey. Lesotho is the only other African nation where the rate of orphaned kids is so high.
