Mozambique Needs 8,000 Doctors

With too few health care workers to meet its growing HIV crisis, Mozambique plans to recruit an additional 8,000 doctors from other African countries over the next 10 years, Health Minister Ivo Garrido announced. About 16 percent of adults in Mozambique are HIV positive, including many health care workers themselves.
