New York Rape Testing Bill Passes

The New York State Assembly passed a controversial law yesterday that allows rape survivors to force suspects in their case to get tested for HIV. Supporters argue that it would help survivors by giving them more information about their attackers, while critics claim it violates civil liberties without offering much public health benefit.
