Life Insurance Turnaround in South Africa

Starting April 1, some South African life insurers will finally acknowledge the life-prolonging effects of treatment by removing HIV/AIDS exclusions from their policies. Companies commonly turn down claims for lump-sum death payouts or disability benefits based on HIV status.
