Clocking In Workplace Disclosure
Most HIV positive employees in Britain still don’t disclose on the job, despite being protected from workplace discrimination under the Disability Discrimination Act since 2005, according to researchers from City University London. The National AIDS Trust recently released an “HIV and Recruitment” guide to educate employers about how to prevent HIV related discrimination and harassment and to educate positive applicants on their legal rights.
