Circumcision Makes the Cut

The United Nations has scheduled a meeting of international AIDS experts for early next month to discuss recent findings that male circumcision reduces the risk of HIV infection in heterosexual men by up to 60 percent. The main item on the agenda is how to promote the practice while taking into account cultural barriers and human rights issues.
