Is the AIDS Quilt Obsolete?

The New York Times today examines a legal battle over who will house 6,000 squares of the historic AIDS quilt. Activists are debating the relevance of the quilt and other memorials of the earlier epidemic considering the changing face of HIV and a range of new and different problems.
