Nerve.com investigates criminal laws that punish non-disclosure of HIV, reporting that penalties may even be harsher than for driving drunk, even when one of the parties wears a condom. POZ editor in chief Regan Hofmann weighs in, arguing that such laws often increase stigma and make people less likely to get tested or discuss HIV openly.
