Pfizer Sued Over Viagra Ads
The AIDS Healthcare Foundation filed a lawsuit against Pfizer today, claiming that the pharma giant encourages recreational use of its erectile dysfunction drug Viagra, thereby increasing unsafe sex and fueling new HIV infections. By making Viagra sounds like a “party drug” in its ads, says AHF, Pfizer’s marketing is “deceptive” and “irresponsible.”
