Ugandans Open Wide
October 23, 2006—Uganda’s first-ever dental clinic for people with HIV opened last week with funds from the British High Commission. Positive people have special dental needs, ranging from the extra strain of oral infections on their immune systems to treatment side effects that can lead to gum disease or tooth decay.
