The HIV Law Project has merged with Housing Works, according to a joint statement. The New York City–based organizations have a decades-long history of working together. The combined group is now the largest provider of legal services for people living with HIV/AIDS in New York. Their priorities will include securing affordable housing, ensuring basic human rights, combating discrimination against people living with the virus and expanding immigration-related legal services.
